What is the movie about ? Can you summarise it in less than 300 words for me please ? Do you think it is better or similar or worse than say, Far Yeung Nin Wah ?
the plot is simple. i can summarise it with just one sentence.
the movie is about a heart-broken woman (Norah Jones) met a handsome guy (Jude Law) who owned a cafe in NY. (Jude Law is a hnadsome guy, but he does not look handsome inthe film, but i like his accent.)
hahahaha! well, it does not fall into Wong Kai Wai's typical genre, like, Chung Hin Sum Lam, Far Yeung Nin Wah or 2046. So it is difficult to say whether it is better or worse than his previous works.
i can give a layman comment, the man sitting next to my friend, kept sighing impatiently through the film. it can be an indicator whether the film is worth going or not. (or go for an expert's comment, luigigi, the "choi nui". haha)
Thanks for the comments. BTW, sighing may mean something else, perhaps that man was dying to visit the toilet but he was SO intrigued by the movie he had to hang on...

agree on Yannie's summary. but, i would like to add one more point. the film looks like a travel program in the Discovery channel.
the man sat next to me kept sighing, and i kept eating pop corn too.
still, my favorite of Wong Kai Wai's movie is Chung Hin Sum Lam.
